Half linen consists of cotton and at least 40% linen. Thus, it combines the advantages of the two materials: the cotton makes the fabric soft and easier to maintain than pure linen. The linen content, on the other hand, provides a pithy feel and ensures that the fabric is hard-wearing and durable and can therefore withstand many washes.
The Schlitzer linen weaving mill Driessen manufactures this fitted sheet to match our half-linen bedding and weaves it in particularly solid warp-twist quality: in the warp, Driessen uses a firm cotton yarn (Nm 60/2), in the weft fine linen yarn (Nm 26). With a basis weight of 150 g/sqm, the linen-bonded fabric is somewhat finer and pleasantly soft. The fitted sheet is worked with elastic at the corners.
