This house and bathrobe is made from a material-opulent cotton fabric that is produced using an elaborate weaving technique. One side is made of soft and cuddly velour, the other of absorbent terry towelling. For the velour on the outside of the bathrobe, the weft threads anchored in the base fabric are cut open and "sheared" into voluminous velour. The loops of the terry fabric on the inside of the robe ensure an enlarged surface area and therefore greater absorbency.
