Tapir has launched an impregnating agent especially for this purpose, which is suitable for materials such as cotton, linen, blended fabrics and functional fabrics. It can be applied directly to the fabric, paying particular attention to the seams. Ensure that the product is applied evenly to avoid streaks. However, any residue can be easily removed with heat, for example with a hair dryer.
The impregnating agent can also be applied by immersion in the hand wash. To do this, mix it with water in a ratio of 1:20 (1 part impregnating agent to 20 parts water) and allow the fabric to dry well. You can achieve particularly good results using a tumble dryer if the item to be impregnated can be put in the dryer.
