The fabric used to make these trousers is a durable canvas made from skin-friendly, organically grown cotton. The barrel-style cut ensures a flattering silhouette and plenty of freedom of movement. They accentuate the waist, sit loosely at the hips, thighs and legs and tighten again at the ankles. This shape is visually reminiscent of a barrel, hence the name. The trousers are finished with forward-facing side seams, which further emphasize the casual look. They have two side pockets and two patch back pockets and are fastened with a zipper and button.

Designing fashion differently (and better), conserving resources instead of exploiting them and creating designs that complement the wardrobe in the long term - that was the plan of Martin Höfeler and Anton Jurina, the founders of the Cologne-based label Armedangels. Or to quote CEO Höfeler: "I actually just wanted to prove that it is possible to build a company that is profit-oriented and at the same time promotes good causes." And what began in 2007 with a simple white T-shirt has long since become a successful fair fashion label. Armedangels combines ecological materials, transparent supply chains, durable design and fair working conditions. This fairness is regularly checked by several independent organizations. Armedangels has been awarded the Fair Trade and GOTS seals. The label is also part of the Fair Wear Foundation.
