General Information
Summery linen blouse. With a beautiful color gradient
Hardly any other material is as comfortable to wear in summer as linen. This is because the fiber can absorb a lot of moisture and quickly releases it back to the outside, which has a cooling effect on the skin. This light and airy blouse is made from pure European linen. It is dyed by hand using an elaborate dip-dye technique and therefore has a gentle color gradient that is slightly different for each piece. The loose, boxy cut combined with the soft, flowing fabric creates a flattering silhouette and a relaxed look. A deep V-neckline and side slits at the torso round off the design.
Trend-setting. Slow fashion from Elemente Clemente
The Munich fashion label Elemente Clemente, founded in 2002 by Clemens Dörr, focuses on purist and urban fashion characterized by high-quality materials and high-quality workmanship. The collections are manufactured from the fiber to the finished garment in small European factories and a partner company in Tunisia, from which the garments we offer originate. Careful use of resources is the label's primary goal. Each item of clothing is created with great attention to detail - from natural fibers such as linen, hemp and cotton or from recycled materials. The textiles are dyed partly with vegetable dyes and partly using a chemical-free laser printing process. Elemente Clemente stands for timeless, forward-looking fashion far removed from short-lived trends that can be worn with a clear conscience.
European linen. Obtained in field roasting
The linen used at Elemente Clemente comes exclusively from Europe and is obtained there using the traditional field retting process. The cut and shredded stalks of the flax plant are laid out in a field. During the roasting process, which lasts several weeks, the pectins in the plant stalk are naturally released with the help of microorganisms and the solid wood components separate from the fibers. The released components are available to the soil as a natural fertilizer. The long fibers are then extracted by mechanical breaking, swinging and hackling. Field roasting is a resource-saving process in which alternatives such as water roasting or chemical roasting cannot compete. This is because these methods require a lot of water and energy and also pollute the environment with chemicals.
Note:
Dip-dye coloring: Slight color variations are characteristic. The colors may fade in strong sunlight.
