Ladies Chelsea Boot

Chelsea boots come in a variety of shapes, but all of them have the same twin trademarks – the high cut (well above the ankle) and the elastic inserts at the side, which guarantee ‘give’ and comfort even after hours of wear. These, together with the particularly good fit at the ankle, have for many years now ensured Chelsea boots ‘classic’ status, in the best English tradition. They were actually invented in the 1830s by a certain J.S. Hall, shoemaker to Queen Victoria, and much later attained real popularity in the 1960s when the Beatles started wearing them – in a version with the pointed toes and stacked heels that were trendy at the time!

The shoes are made on a narrow last. Therefore, it is better to choose half a size larger than usual.
