Ladies coat EtaProof®

Sporty and elegant – and perfect as an all-year-round coat. Without slit on the back, partially lined and with angled welt pockets on the front. The side panel seams give the garment a tailored fit. Sleeves and back lining are sewn into the piped hems. The shaped facing, out of the same fabric as the outside fabric, provides the perfect fit of this coat. The facing goes up to the top of the sleeves, thus preventing it from sliding down. Four ventilation holes under each arm provide extra breathability. You find horn buttons on the concealed button line, and the pouch pockets, with metal zippers, double as inside pockets.

EtaProof® is the much-praised cotton cloth from Switzerland, developed by the Zurich weaving mill, Stotz. The highly breathable fabric is appreciated by outdoor enthusiasts, the military and polar explorers alike. The protective properties of the fabric keep everything dry, so long as the rain is not coming straight down from the sky in sheets. The fabric, which is moderately impregnated with a wax-based material, uses the same protective principle as waterproof parachute silk. It is woven so tightly that the fibres swell on contact with moisture and water droplets simply run off on the surface.
