Lanius produces this sweater in patent knit from pure, organically grown cotton. Patented knitwear is characterized by the fact that it is voluminous and plastic and at the same time particularly elastic and air-permeable. Here, the patented knit is skillfully broken up by the knitted horizontal stripes, giving the sweater a lively look. The fit is slightly boxy and therefore casual and comfortable. The neck, sleeves and body are finished with rib-knit cuffs.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
