Like its big shopper brother, the smaller ladies' handbag from Moismont is woven in a sturdy rib weave and is therefore a strong companion, whether for everyday use, a weekend getaway or a long-distance trip. With a volume of 11 liters, the bag effortlessly holds the utensils you need for a stroll through the city or along the promenade - the reinforced base and top edge can even carry heavier contents, for example if you want to take "War and Peace" with you to read in a café or on vacation. Two sturdy, stitched handles and a wide, adjustable shoulder strap ensure that the handbag is comfortable to carry and can also be worn cross-body to keep your hands free for Gibson and fork bites. A magnetic press stud closes the handbag in the middle (so that voluminous items like the Tolstoy don't slip out of your grasp); inside, a slip pocket bordered on the edge keeps keys and sunglasses close at hand.

Martine and Jacques Bijvoet are behind the Moismont label, which is based in Picardy, France. With their fashion, the two are committed to authenticity, traditions and values. It is therefore not surprising that France and India come together in their scarves and stoles, blankets and bags: The designs come from Parisian textile designer Adrien Testard, while they are traditionally made in India. After all, the original scarf (which we understand to be worn more like a stole) once found its way from the Indian subcontinent to Europe. And this scarf culture is still very much alive in India today: Yarn dyeing, weaving and printing techniques are passed down from generation to generation there - in three carefully differentiated professions, each of which possesses and guards its own unique know-how.
