The striking patch pockets on these jeans are particularly eye-catching. But the fabric is also remarkable: the soft washed denim, which has a distinctive Used look, is made from certified organic cotton. There is also some elastomultiester and elastane for a relaxed fit and shape retention. The cut is also designed for comfort: The jeans come with a mid-rise waistband and a straight, wide and slightly cropped leg. They fasten with a metal zipper and button and have two side pockets and two back pockets.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
