These sporty, elegant jersey trousers are made at Jan ’n June from a fine ribbed jersey that is largely made of Lyocell (TENCEL™). This is a regenerative cellulose fiber obtained from wood that comes from certified sources. There is also a small amount of elastane for greater elasticity and shape retention. The lightweight jersey is silky-soft and pleasantly smooth against the skin, while the flowing drape of the fabric and the casual cut with a wide, straight leg create a flattering silhouette. The fastening-free trousers feature an elasticated waistband and two pockets invisibly inserted into the side seam. A casual, easy to combine basic piece that is also extremely comfortable to wear on warm summer days. Lyocell also ensures that body moisture is well absorbed and quickly wicked away to the outside.

What began as an idea over a glass of wine in the summer of 2013 is now a successful Hamburg-based eco-fashion label: Jan ’n June. Instead of catering to short-lived trends, founders Anna Bronowski and Juliana Holtzheimer focus on timeless, minimalist fashion that focuses on natural resources and is produced under socially responsible working conditions. The materials used include natural fibers such as certified organic cotton and European linen, innovative regenerated fibers such as Lyocell (TENCEL™) and recycled polyester and polyamide. To keep production routes as short as possible, the clothing is produced almost exclusively in Europe. Each item of clothing has a hangtag with a QR code that can be used to trace the product's supply chain. Since 2021, Jan ’n June has been certified according to the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). This sets high standards for the production of textiles made from organically produced natural fibers - across the entire value chain: from the extraction of the fibers, their processing and distribution to ethical and social criteria. Compliance with the standard is reviewed annually and the GOTS certification is re-awarded.
