The beautiful aran pattern in a "honeycomb stitch" immediately catches the eye with this women's sweater, but other features are only revealed when you touch it, which is incredibly soft. The fine, lightweight knit is made largely from Peruvian alpaca hair, which is wonderfully warm and very gentle on the skin. There is also a small amount of recycled polyamide for added durability and shape retention. The sweater is knitted in a straight fit. The stand-up collar, sleeves and body are finished with rib-knitted cuffs. The sleeves are extra-long so that they also keep your hands warm.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
