The non-slip, plain weave fabric is particularly hard-wearing and has a vibrant look thanks to the use of different colored yarns. Lanius has chosen a material combination of cotton and hemp, which makes the fabric extremely comfortable to wear and breathable. This makes the trousers ideal for the warmer months of the year. They have two side pockets and two blind back pockets and are fastened with a zipper, trouser hook and button. The mid-rise waistband is reinforced on the inside for extra stability and a good, comfortable fit.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
