Ladies pencil pants

The pencil pants with tapered leg are a timeless fashion classic that is casual and elegant at the same time. Lanius tailors them with a high waistband, extra-wide belt loops and mid-rise darts at the legs that extend to the knees. The skin-friendly and easy-to-wear fabric is made of organic cotton, linen and TENCEL™, a little elastane further increases the wearing comfort. The pants are closed by means of stone nut buttons and plastic zipper. It is equipped with two front welt pockets and (for the sake of appearance) two blind back pockets. And last but not least: The pencil pants are versatile to combine.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
