Ladies trench coat EtaProof®

This classic women’s trench coat is made of two-ply EtaProof® gabardine woven from combed, extra-long staple cotton. As a between-seasons coat, it can be worn all year round. The storm flaps of the coat‘s distinctively wide stand collar can be buttoned up and secured using the metal buckle. A back yoke and a shoulder yoke in the front left cover the shoulders. The sleeves of the trench coat can be adjusted by means of genuine horn clasps, the waist belt is multi-stitched.

EtaProof® is the much-praised cotton cloth from Switzerland, developed by the Zurich weaving mill, Stotz. The highly breathable fabric is appreciated by outdoor enthusiasts, the military and polar explorers alike. The protective properties of the fabric keep everything dry, so long as the rain is not coming straight down from the sky in sheets. The fabric, which is moderately impregnated with a wax-based material, uses the same protective principle as waterproof parachute silk. It is woven so tightly that the fibres swell on contact with moisture and water droplets simply run off on the surface.
