Its clear cut and purist look are what make this coat so charming. The material is also full of character. Lanius uses a voluminous full-wool fabric with a pleasantly non-slip and soft feel for the coat, made from warming virgin wool from certified organic animal husbandry and skin-friendly, certified organic cotton. The lining is made of pure viscose, making it easy to put on and take off and comfortable to wear. The coat is concealed buttoned - with real horn press studs - and has a stand-up collar and two side pockets set into the seam. A timeless favorite that can be combined in a variety of ways - with both elegant and casual outfits.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
