For many people, mopping the floor is one of the most unpleasant household chores, which is why it is best done with good tools. This makes them easier and quicker. The Vieböck floor cloth (best used in combination with our scrubbing brush) is a great help: woven from pure, bleached linen yarn in the warp and undyed linen in the weft, it is easy to clean and, thanks to its waffle structure, has a particularly good dirt absorption capacity. Linen is a natural material that is very hard-wearing, can absorb a lot of moisture and also release it again quickly. Due to the smooth surface of the linen fibers, it is naturally dirt-repellent and therefore easy to clean.

The floor cloth should definitely be washed before first use, because only then does the waffle structure of the linen fabric develop due to the shrinkage (of 10%) and it becomes nice and grippy. Incidentally, the longer linen cloths are used, the softer and more absorbent they become. They can withstand many, many washes and can easily compete with any microfiber cloth - but with additional advantages: Because during their long cleaning life, they neither produce microplastics nor end up as plastic waste in the mountains of garbage.
