Manicure case 3-piece
- Vegan leather alternative: manicure case made from Texon
- With 3 instruments: Nail scissors, glass file and tweezers
- Compact and lightweight: small format for on the go
General Information
Small, handy, light. Texon manicure case
The manicure case is equipped with nail scissors, a glass file and tweezers (with a straight tip). The scissors and tweezers are made of carbon steel and are manufactured to a solid quality in Solingen. The glass nail file allows very fine filing and is therefore intended less for shortening than for fine shaping. The three instruments are also available separately in our range.
The small case that holds the three manicure instruments together is a special feature: It is made from Texon. This material, which is similar to paper in terms of manufacturing technology, is made from latexed cellulose fibers, has a waterproof bond and is therefore less sensitive to moisture. Texon is therefore much more resistant to mechanical stress and does not "delaminate", i.e. it does not disintegrate into individual layers after prolonged use - unlike cardboard with open edges, for example. As a leather substitute material, Texon is mainly used in the textile and shoe industry or, as here, as a durable case for manicure instruments. It is waterproof, so can be wiped clean if necessary, but can still develop a slight patina with time and use.
Manicure instruments. Made in Solingen
When it comes to manicure instruments, there is a choice between those made of stainless steel and those made of carbon steel. Carbon steel can be hardened and sharpened to a higher degree than stainless steel, which in turn is rustproof. Both steels also differ in price. Our manicure instruments are manufactured in Solingen. We combine the most important instruments - supplemented by useful accessories - in manicure cases.
Niyok natural cosmetics. Minimum formulation, maximum transparency
As much as necessary, as little as possible. This sentence basically sums up what the natural cosmetics company Niyok stands for. Its body care products contain only the ingredients necessary for their purpose and are also vegan and certified as natural cosmetics. But the North Rhine-Westphalian manufacturer goes one step further than usual for maximum transparency: on the back of the packaging of the body care products, the so-called INCI list, which shows all the ingredients of a product with the technical name, is not only displayed, but all the names of the ingredients are also translated and briefly explained. This is also what Niyok understands by transparency: not only seeing what's in it, but also understanding it. The company motto could just as well be: minimum formulation, maximum transparency.
All Niyok body care products are produced at the company site in Germany - with green electricity, and the manicure instruments are manufactured in Solingen, with a few exceptions. The raw materials are carefully selected and come from Europe wherever possible. This also ensures clean and fair production conditions. Parabens, silicones and palm oil are, of course, taboo.
Packaging yes, plastic no
It goes without saying that, with a few exceptions, plastic is not used in the packaging - but this is not a matter of course. For example, Niyok is one of the few manufacturers whose manicure instruments are supplied in plastic-free packaging. The toothpaste tubes are made of 50% chalk and 50% polyethylene. This means that the walls of the chalk tube are only half as thick as those of conventional plastic tubes. And wherever possible, glass or cardboard is used instead of plastic or no packaging is used at all.
Niyok also supports the Berlin-based company CleanHub. Its digital platform for waste traceability enables comprehensive monitoring of plastic collection activities. This software tracks every kilogram of plastic waste from the point of collection to disposal. CleanHub thus contributes to transparency in collection and helps to finance the costly collection of different types of plastic and their recycling.
