Denim shirts have a long tradition. In the 1930s, they were popular with Hollywood icons and an expression of rugged style. In the 1960s and 1970s, they were discovered by the counterculture and became a symbol of rebellion. Today, denim shirts are appreciated above all because they are both practical and stylish. The strong fabric of this denim shirt from Armedangels is remarkable. Around two-thirds of it is made from comfortable cotton and a good third from linen. The shirt has a classic button-down collar, which not only has the tips of the collar fastened with a button, but also a button at the back of the neck. The seams are finished in white contrast stitching, the same color as the embroidered Armedangels logo on the breast pocket. Pleats under the shoulder yoke make it more comfortable to wear.

Designing fashion differently (and better), conserving resources instead of exploiting them and creating designs that complement the wardrobe in the long term - that was the plan of Martin Höfeler and Anton Jurina, the founders of the Cologne-based label Armedangels. Or to quote CEO Höfeler: "I actually just wanted to prove that it is possible to build a company that is profit-oriented and at the same time promotes good causes." And what began in 2007 with a simple white T-shirt has long since become a successful fair fashion label. Armedangels combines ecological materials, transparent supply chains, durable design and fair working conditions. This fairness is regularly checked by several independent organizations. Armedangels has been awarded the Fair Trade and GOTS seals. The label is also part of the Fair Wear Foundation.
