The knit of this turtleneck sweater consists of about two-thirds virgin wool, added alpaca hair and silk. This unusual combination gives the sweater excellent wearing properties: it is warming, yet not too heavy, soft and comparatively smooth to the touch. Remarkably, Hansen has the fabrics – a tangible difference – hand-dyed, hand-washed and (partially) creased. Natural variations in the yarns, the colours, and the weave are part of the design and underline the lively character of the garments.
