This woven scarf is made from pure, warming wool from certified organic animal husbandry with a soft feel. Its design features a small-scale pattern similar to a Vichy check, but here it consists of yarns in three colors (not the usual two). The warp threads leading into the long twisted fringes at the ends of the shawl are mustard yellow, while the weft threads alternate between blue and black yarns.

Located in Hof in Upper Franconia - in the heart of one of Germany's most important textile regions - the family business has been run by Thomas Hohenberger and Sabine Weidner-Dietel since 1993. With the expertise handed down from their predecessors, the two are breaking new ground, while at the same time remaining true to tradition and keeping up with the times. The company has been based at the same location since 1890, and production is still partly in Germany and partly in Italy. No wonder, because Hohenberger attaches great importance to treating the art of weaving as a personally learned craft - a craft that is mastered by the employees.
