Coated pan with best frying properties
Hifficiency® is derived from the English words high and efficiency. This coated pan is therefore highly efficient. Why is quickly explained. Built up in three thin layers of ferromagnetic steel on the outside and aluminum on the inside, it exploits the good thermal conductivity of the light metal. The pan body becomes very hot within a very short time and the heat is distributed evenly. Short cooking times are the result. At the same time, the manufacturer in Wilhelmshaven expressly recommends preheating and using its pan only on a medium setting - especially on induction - or placing the food to be fried directly into the still cold pan with a little frying fat to prevent overheating. This also protects the innovative coating made of quartz ceramic and the high-performance plastic PEK (polyether ketone), which, unlike conventional PTFE coatings, is applied without solvents. Four production steps are required for this alone, making the Hifficiency® ladle particularly robust and "thick-walled". The coating is applied throughout on both sides - outside and inside, including on the stainless steel handle - and is actually temperature-resistant up to 450 °C. The advantage is that when the pan is heated, the coating can be removed. The advantage: When the pan is heated, no fumes escape and the coating cannot detach from the body of the pan.
