When pans and pots are stacked one inside the other in a drawer or on a shelf, even the most careful handling runs the risk of scratching and damaging the coating. Often, kitchen towels made of cellulose are then misused as protective intermediate layers. More practical and durable is this pan protector made of pure new wool felt. At five millimeters thick, it is thicker and thus provides a much better cushion than the thin cloths. Placed between pans or pots, it protects the coating of the pan and (and also the ears of the cooks) as a shock absorber. The pan protector is suitable for pans up to 36 cm in diameter. Since the felt strips are only interwoven in the middle, it also fits small pans of 14 cm diameter. The felt strips are made of durable, hard-wearing virgin wool, which thanks to its fiber surface has a self-cleaning effect and is resistant to dirt.
