Provence and its pastis go together like jambon and baguette, tapenade and croûtons de pain, the scent of pine and summer air ... This refreshing, herbal, aniseed-based alcoholic drink was on everyone's lips at the turn of the 20th century at the latest, when absinthe (which is much stronger) was temporarily banned. Would you have known? The word "pastís" means "mixture" in the Provençal dialect of the Occitan language - the French word "pastiche" in turn means "imitation". However, these glasses, which match the traditional aperitif in the south of France, are anything but imitations, produced in the original good everyday quality and typical shape at La Rochère in the Haute-Saône department. We offer them in a set of four, two of which are decorated with the same design.
