Pillows with duck down
A pure down filling would make no sense for pillows: the filigree structure of down is extremely bulky, but has no supporting power - the tired head would sink into the pillow unsupported and unrestrained. A pure feather filling would have great supporting power, but you would miss the soft and supple modeling of the pillow to the head. That is why a proportion of duck down (15%) has been added to the filling of this feather pillow. The ticking is made from a dense, white twill of soft cotton and highly absorbent lyocell and finished with piping.
