Our horsehair fleece comes from Reibel, the last German horsehair spinning mill. The cleaned horsehair is treated with heat, curls and can then absorb up to 20% moisture without appearing damp. For increased comfort, the firm seat cushion is covered with a thin cotton layer.

100 % horsehair on woven jute with a cotton slip. Nettle ticking with zipper. 4 cm thick.
Our horse hair fleece is made by Reibel, the last German horse hair spinning mill. The horsehair is cleaned and treated with heat, curling it until it can absorb up to 20% moisture, without feeling damp. The seating cushion is furnished with a thin cotton slip for extra comfort.
