Race car rubber engine
This racing trike comes from the automobile region of Baden-Wuerttemberg. The environmentally compatible drive train guarantees a drastic acceleration. To get the racer in gear, you slip the rubber band in the groove in the rear axle and roll the racer backwards, winding up the rubber band. When you let it go, the rubber rapidly unwinds, catapulting the racer forward.
The trike bears a not coincidental resemblance to an American dragster, as it hurtles along its more than 15 meter "quarter mile". Since the racer can’t be steered, make sure you aim it well so that it stays on course.
