Of course, the sink basket cannot prevent this completely, but the stainless steel grid offers less contact surface and resistance than a granite or steel sink. Conversely, the sink basket protects the surface of the sink when pots and pans are washed. And thanks to the frame at the top made of approx. 5 millimeter thick steel wire, the sink basket is also suitable for transporting dishes from the terrace or party cellar to the kitchen, for example. But it can also be used as an emergency bread or fruit basket, as well as for the "airy" storage of food in the (fridge) cupboard - and you can certainly think of other uses for this all-rounder.
