Matching the brass shower hanging basket, the Iserlohn company Giese manufactures this shower shelf in a modern, clean look. The chrome-plated brass shelf is provided with drainage holes (of 5 mm diameter) and - exceedingly practical - a larger hole with a diameter of 2.8 cm, in which a razor can be hung. A wide, all-round "railing" and the edge of the shelf bent up at the front keep care products & co. in place. Two hooks also hold washcloths, sisal bags and bath sponge or the squeegee for tiles and glass wall.

Everything is chrome-plated these days: the thinnest steel sheets, die-cast zinc and even plastic. You can usually tell by the weight. However, chrome plating is often poor and inadequate. You notice it - usually too late - when the wafer-thin layer of chrome peels off after a few weeks and the metal underneath starts to rust or react. (There are chrome-plated steel appliances on which, for example, a natural sponge will turn brown within a few days). Under the chrome layer of our Giese appliances, however, is solid and additionally nickel-plated brass. So you can be sure that these items are durable and will not rust.

Drilled tiles are always a nuisance, especially if a wall-mounted hook or holder should or must be subsequently relocated. We put an end to this annoyance by supplying the product not only with the conventional screw-on technique, but also with an additional set for adhesive mounting. The enclosed fast-curing adhesive is characterized by its high adhesive strength and can still be removed without residue if necessary.
