The Swabian Iron and Steel Works (SHW in the German abbreviation) are famous for their hand-tools. Fully forged, all cutting edges chamfered and sharpened. The oval-shaped handles of oiled ash have a hole at the end for hanging on the wall and, like a good axe, are attached to the handle by wedge and ring.
