"Sjoelen" is the name of this game from the Netherlands, in which the aim is to move the 30 tiles by hand into the compartments at the end of the almost two-meter-long game board (and distribute them as evenly as possible). This sounds simple, but as the density of tiles in front of the entrances to the four compartments increases, it becomes difficult or even impossible. If a tile gets stuck in the compartment entrance, it can also be pushed through the opening with the following disk, similar to billiards. We offer the Sjoelbak in a foldable version that is suitable for transportation.

The games from Alfaset convince with their exceptional processing quality. Because the Swiss manufacturer processes mainly domestic woods such as maple, birch and beech uncompromisingly: the accuracy of fit of the individual components is impressive, the elements are neatly glued, the surfaces carefully treated. In short: Alfaset's parlor games clearly stand out from the crowd. The same applies to their ability to inspire both children and adults. One of the reasons for this is that the rules are as simple as they are comprehensible, and success does not depend on talent, but to a large extent on lucky coincidences. This occasionally drives some people up the wall, but just as quickly brings them back to the board.
The games are all manufactured in the company's five workshops near Lake Neuchâtel. There, Alfaset employs mainly people with disabilities who work together with skilled carpenters.
