This handy fork with two forged stainless steel prongs specializes in caring for your potted and tub plants. These tines help you to gently loosen and aerate the soil in the containers without putting too much strain on the roots of roses, summer flowers, oleander or lemon trees. Sharpened at the tip, the tines easily penetrate even heavily rooted pot balls and are therefore also useful when applying (organic) fertilizer in pots. Simply fill the required amount into the holes created and then shake the pot or tub gently. This ensures that the fertilizer is evenly distributed. For over 100 years, the family of West Frisian blacksmith Jaap Sneeboer has been supplying their Dutch fellow citizens, who are known to be constantly busy with farming, dyke construction and horticulture, with the tools they need. Sneeboer uses two different stainless steels for his traditional Frisian horticultural tools in stainless steel: a higher-alloyed, tougher one for the springs and spouts of the handle holder and a lower-alloyed, more forgeable one for the actual functional parts. The individual structural elements are welded together and then ground and polished. All operations are carried out by hand.
