The bristles made from real, pure boar bristles also absorb excess oil from the skin near the scalp and transport it to the dry ends of the hair - only natural bristles are able to do this, artificial ones cannot. This creates a natural shine and brushing helps to prevent split ends.
Once the bristles have been anchored in the brush body, the brushes are individually checked by hand and adjusted if necessary, and the bristles are brought to a very even thickness and length. The wood used for the body comes from English forests, the reforestation of which is monitored by the Forestry Commission. The brush is easy to handle thanks to the wide handle.
