A notebook is a notebook is a notebook? Far from it! These spiral notebooks from Traveler's Company show just how different notebooks can be and thus serve a wide variety of purposes - or even give us the idea for one use or another in the first place. As the name suggests, the Japanese manufacturer has focused on accessories for travelers who write and draw. The notebooks are designed accordingly: There are four versions to choose from. In the first version, the two sturdy spiral-bound book covers hold delicate white paper that is just as suitable for writing with ink and ballpoint pens as it is for sketching with felt-tip pens, ink pens or colored pencils. The spiral book with 80 sheets of kraft paper is also intended for friends of writing and drawing who like a somewhat coarser textured surface. All those who collect smaller papers such as tickets and other small-format ephemera will appreciate the notebook with pockets made of folded, writable paper. And number four for photos (in 9 × 13 cm or 10 × 15 cm format) and postcards (even with an A6 envelope): These can be preserved and sorted in the spiral book with twelve window envelopes made of solid kraft paper.

The book covers are made of strong, resin-coated kraft paper so that the spiral book can withstand the rigors of travel and frequent handling. The carefully hand-finished, metal spiral binding provides additional stability. Each notebook thus provides a solid base for freehand writing and sketching in a café, on a park bench or in a train compartment, on the beach, on a mountain or wherever you are taking a break to record thoughts, memories or pictures.
