The game that should not be named, but which everyone knows and inevitably leads to waves of emotion, comes here with "exciting" new features.

Firstly, the Impossible strategy game is supplied as a kit with 43 parts (including the already perfectly shaped game pieces). The individual components are assembled into game board elements and partially glued together in a joint crafting session. The plug-in system that results from this crafting fun can be rearranged for each new round of players to create a playing field for two to six players. Once all the pieces have been assembled, the game can begin straight away - but be careful, please don't expect to be able to suppress any feelings of indignation during the game.

On the other hand, the Impossible rules have additional strategies that can be described as perfidious and have an unpredictable effect on the course of the game.

For example, the rule is: no quarter! An opponent's piece must be hit if the opportunity to do so is rolled, even backwards. If you overlook such an opportunity to capture, your piece flies off the board and must be rolled again. The mandatory backward hit doubles the risk of being thrown out of the race - and is not the last innovation: Slipping through is also permitted (and may give you satisfaction if you have just lost a playing piece). If you roll a six while your pawn is standing on a connecting element, your pawn can slide along the dotted line across the adjacent single square to the next connecting element. This can mean victory - if it weren't for the opponent's pieces in front of you, who also have to move backwards ...

Impossible not to get annoyed? Oh well, the playing pieces are made of beech wood and can take many a blow in their stride. And the playing field elements are made of natural birch plywood and can even withstand slipping with solid equanimity. So who knows, maybe the next move will give you a new sense of schadenfreude.
