The alcohol-free hibiscus aperitif from the Berlin pharmacy brand Dr. Jaglas is a good alternative to classic, alcoholic aperitifs. The tart sweetness of the hibiscus flowers is accompanied by rosemary, bitter orange, elderberries and vanilla. Although non-alcoholic, the finish ends on a fine whisky note. The hibiscus aperitif is drunk chilled and its manufacturer recommends it as the basis for non-alcoholic drinks - for example with tonic, lime and ice cubes as a "hibiscus spritz".
