The elephant in the china store, the dog in the pan ... we thought there was still a stag missing in the kitchen! The stag found its way into our range via our Viennese department store. Framsohn visited us there for an event and brought along a whole bunch of these tea towel sets. It was so well received by our Austrian customers that it not only sold out in no time at all, but was also in constant demand. So we are now providing supplies directly via our store so that the woven deer can now also romp around in your kitchen.

As we have come to expect from Framsohn textiles, the tea towel has the right practical properties for working in the kitchen: Woven from soft cotton, it is hard-wearing and at the same time supple, with a medium material weight of 250 g/sqm it is also highly absorbent and can absorb a lot of moisture. This means that the solid cloth not only dries dishes, but can also be used for hands in the kitchen.

Framsohn, the name stands for Franz Amstetter & Söhne, in the Waldviertel region of Lower Austria, is the fourth generation of the family to manufacture high-quality home textiles and terry towelling. The family business has always attached great importance to its connection with nature and the local people. This attitude is reflected in several factors. For example, Framsohn weaves the terry towelling from organic-certified cotton. All production still takes place at the company's original headquarters. This reduces transportation routes, allows continuous quality control from the thread to the finished product and enables Framsohn to directly and immediately influence ecological parameters. To document this, Framsohn has been certified in accordance with the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). This sets high standards for the production of textiles made from organically produced natural fibers - across the entire production chain: from the extraction of textile fibers, through their processing and distribution, to ethical and social criteria. Compliance with the standard is reviewed annually and the GOTS certification is re-awarded.
