A kitchen towel. Many purposes
This half-linen tea towel can also be used as a kitchen towel thanks to its generous basis weight of 250 g/sqm. Woven in a rather loose twill weave, it is quite voluminous. The combination of material weight and weave as well as cotton and linen makes the towel supple, durable and highly absorbent - this also means that the tea towel should dry well after use, preferably spread out over a towel rail or line.
We have the kitchen towel woven by the Seegers & Sohn linen factory in Lower Saxony: from strong linen yarn (yarn count Nm 26) in the warp and a strong cotton yarn (yarn count Nm 50/2) in the weft. It can be used for any purpose in the kitchen: for dishes as well as for wet hands, hot pots or clean worktops.
