General Information

This package contains:

Tomato variety 'Zebrago' Yellow-green flamed, slightly wrinkled salad tomato with a very complex, spicy-fruity aroma and balanced acidity. Golden-yellow flamed ripening. Perfect for cold preparation. Strong-growing, narrow plant with slightly drooping, dark green foliage. Early ripening, high yielding. Note: slightly softer when fully ripe, but still stores well. Small brown spots appear after a few days in storage; these are typical of the variety and do not affect consumption.

Tomato variety 'Retillo' High-yielding salad tomato with round, red, well-colored fruits on compact, mostly undivided panicles. Extremely burst-resistant and easy to store. The taste is described as very aromatic, balanced and fruity. The plant is very healthy with good vigor and drooping foliage. Medium-early ripening, resistant to velvet blotch.

Tomato variety 'Sunviva' Cocktail tomato with bright yellow fruits. Ideal snack tomato; particularly juicy and with a strong, fruity aroma, therefore also suitable as an ingredient in various vegetable dishes and for decorating salads. The plant is very robust and can be grown on multiple shoots, but should be thinned out regularly and tied up in any case. A sufficient supply of nutrients increases the yield.

Tomato variety Resi The special one! Outdoor tomato with small, dark red, sweet and exceptionally aromatic, exotic fruits that taste of banana and pineapple. An experience as a snack tomato and in salads. Vigorously growing, slender plant with tight, dark green foliage, can be grown on multiple shoots. The rather low yield is compensated by a long harvest period. High blight tolerance.

Tomato variety 'Striped Cavern' Blocky, yellow-flamed fruits with bright red coloring, firm flesh and firm skin. The loose seeds are easy to remove, making 'Striped Cavern' ideal as a filling tomato. The vigorous, healthy plant is very productive. Don't forget to pinch out and tie up regularly.

Tomato variety 'Mandaline' Large, bright orange flesh tomato with good plant health and excellent taste. This variety has an exceptionally exotic, fruity aroma with a pleasant sweetness and very mild acidity. Fully ripe with rather soft skin - perfect for sauces. Medium vigor and medium-late ripening.

Tomato variety 'Ananori' Older beef tomato variety with an outstandingly juicy, aromatic flavor and exceptional appearance. The flat-round, slightly ribbed fruits appear green to yellowish-red marbled, depending on the growing conditions and degree of ripeness. With their thin skin and high weight, they are predestined for fresh consumption and can be enjoyed like fruit. Moderate demands on fertilization and irrigation.

Coveted apples of paradise

Originating from the Peruvian Andes, the tomato was brought to Europe by Columbus in 1498, but was only cultivated for consumption in the middle of the 18th century - previously it was considered an inedible ornamental plant. Since then, however, it has enjoyed great popularity, which is also reflected in the countless varieties that have been bred over time. However, this diversity is under threat, as almost only varieties with a standardized taste and shape are cultivated. If you want to get to know a greater variety, you have to grow the tried and tested varieties yourself, according to the motto: What is eaten is not forgotten. This package contains the following tried and tested tomato varieties, which were once common in the region and are characterized by taste, robustness and a long harvest period.

Proven vegetable seeds

We have put together a range of tried and tested or unusual vegetable seeds for you: from German and English breeders who are committed to preserving genetic diversity and have made many varieties available to home gardeners again. And in order to facilitate and promote the tradition of seed gardening, i.e. harvesting your own seeds for the next season, we only supply seed-resistant (i.e. true-to-seed) selections and no F1 hybrids. Detailed information on sowing and location requirements is printed on all bags, or instructions are included.
We supply in portion bags for the home garden.
