These striped pieces come from the family of pit towels. Stripes and vintage are the only difference, however, because they are made in the same way as their older brothers: from leftover yarns of various colors, which were produced in large quantities in the weaving mills then as now. This also gives rise to the diverse color combinations, which are always different. It is therefore impossible to predict which colors the towels will come in.

The Framsohn weaving mill in Lower Austria produces the terry towels in solid semi-twisted quality, making them just as robust and hard-wearing as the colorful checkered pit towels and able to withstand frequent use and many washes. The shower towel and guest towel are predestined for the bathroom, but the 50 × 80 cm towel can also be used in all other areas and can cope with anything in the kitchen, workshop or garden shed.
