This striking Loopscarf, which can also be worn as a hood thanks to its width, is knitted from supple bouclé yarns - effect yarns in which the core thread is wrapped by one or more threads, creating small loops or knots. The term bouclé comes from the French and means "curled" or "looped", which describes the look and feel of the yarns very well. Half of the yarns are made from alpaca hair in Fibra Superior quality, the highest quality grade with the finest and softest hair. The other half is Peruvian wool.

On the western tip of the Breton peninsula lies the department of Finistère. According to the Roman name, this is the end of the earth. Besides aiming at high-quality standards, Les Racines du Ciel’s declared entrepreneurial goal is to promote artisanal traditions and products and thus preserve jobs in impoverished rural areas. They choose their production locations correspondingly.
