With this blanket, the North Wales weaving mill has succeeded particularly well in highlighting colors and patterns. Despite the colorful stripes, the herringbone pattern creates an elegant appearance. In contrast to many other colorful blankets with a herringbone weave, the colorful wool yarn is used in the warp and the natural-colored light yarn in the weft. This is why the fringes are as cheerfully colorful as the stripes. Tweedmill weaves the blanket from New Zealand virgin wool, which is obtained in an animal-friendly way as mulesing is not used in New Zealand. It has a pleasantly soft feel and is slightly lighter than the Tweedmill counterparts in our range, so you can use the new wool blanket in winter and summer, for the sofa and patio alike.

The Tweedmill weaving mill in Wales, in the county of Flintshire, has been producing home textiles, outdoor blankets and accessories from wool since 1971. The range extends from soft tweed made from fine lambswool to traditional tartans and blankets made from New Zealand wool and picnic blankets made from recycled wool. The designs are inspired by the colors of Welsh nature, the forests and the coast, but also surprise with bold tones and unusual color combinations. They are mainly created by the company's own designers, but the family business also encourages young creative minds: the winning designs of the annual Drapers Memorial Textile Prize are realized in a separate collection.
