Waffle iron cast iron
General Information
A waffle iron has to be heavy to absorb, distribute and maintain enough heat - which is why this one is made of uncoated grey-cast iron. Both sides are ground completely smooth; therefore, you can use the iron on a gas oven and an electric oven. Special caution is required with ceramic ovens to avoid scratching of the glass surface. The waffle iron is manufactured by Skeppshult, a Swedish iron foundry.
