In addition to its simple, straightforward design, this wall mirror is characterized by the accurate, solid craftsmanship typical of "Form & Refine": the solid oak slats are dowelled, glued and finally oiled in carpentry style. Above all, however, the wall mirror has a significant functional advantage: it is considerably higher than a conventional wall mirror and therefore offers the possibility of holistic viewing. If you mount the mirror firmly on the wall - with the involvement of any roommates - small people will be able to see more than just the top of their head, while tall people are no longer limited to the reflection of their décolleté. And a little distance is rewarded by a view that can be inspected from head to toe - especially as it seems advisable, especially in times of working from home, to quickly check before leaving the house whether the sock color matches or whether the jogging bottoms have been swapped for jeans. Incidentally, the wall mirror is not only exceptionally high, but also somewhat narrower than many of its colleagues, which means it can be installed in some niches, for example next to the front door...

Form & Refine is a Danish design label founded in 2018 by Helle Herman Mortensen, Jonas Herman Pedersen and Lasse Lund Lauridsen. It exemplarily follows the Scandinavian design tradition and continues it at the same time. A central point is the harmonious combination of aesthetics, function and material. The designs are clear and restrained, function leads to form and the pure materials, which are allowed to retain their original visual details and forms, are processed with perfect craftsmanship. This is always done in the countries of origin of the materials, which shortens transport distances and at the same time supports the local craft culture.
