Ramie is a fast-growing plant from the nettle family that requires very little water to grow. The long, tear-resistant fibers can be spun into fine yarns and have therefore been processed into high-quality textiles for thousands of years. Fabrics made from it are extremely hard-wearing, yet light and airy and pleasant to the touch. Similar to linen, they can absorb a lot of moisture and quickly wick it away again, making them particularly breathable - ideal for a summery slip blouse like this one. Lanius makes it from pure, silky shiny ramie. It has a loose fit, a V-neckline and raglan sleeves. The hem is straight at the front and slightly rounded at the back. The gathered sections at the front and back of the neckline and on the sleeves create a beautiful feminine look.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
