The embroidery elements on the front give this women's sweatshirt a fresh, modern look. Lanius makes the majority of it from skin-friendly, certified organic cotton, supplemented by a proportion of recycled polyester for added durability and shape retention. The loose, slightly cropped fit with dropped shoulders and wide-cut sleeves offer plenty of freedom of movement, while the brushed, fluffy fabric surface on the inside ensures an all-round comfortable feel. Elasticated cuffs finish the neck, sleeves and torso.

The work of fashion label Lanius is influenced by three factors: first, a style characterised by sophisticated designs and forms, secondly the use of certified raw materials and thirdly the guarantee that all garments have been produced under fair working conditions. Depending on the garment, one factor may get centre stage, but the other factors don’t move out of the focus – however, importance is always attached to outstanding quality both in terms of materials and finish. The label was founded in 1999 by Claudia Lanius, who works on all her ideas and designs in her Cologne studio; she has them developed by her team and then assembled by producers in several countries.
