Of course there is a pattern - more precisely, a template designed in-house, according to which the Ostheimer wooden toys are made. And yet, on the way from the design to the finished product, each figure develops into a small one-off. This is because the company has always attached great importance to the high quality of its toys: from careful sawing out, which takes into account the grain of the wood, to rough and fine sanding and painting by hand, they are made by skilled craftsmen. In many individual steps, wooden toys are created that encourage your child to play freely, lively and imaginatively.

In Zell unter Aichelberg in Baden-Württemberg, the manufacturing processes at Margarete Ostheimer GmbH are carried out in an ecologically responsible manner. For this reason, only wood from regional forestry is used in the European partner companies. The company is equally committed to social responsibility and promotes social interaction, for example by setting up integrative workplaces for people with support needs. In addition, Ostheimer Holzspielzeug is owned by the Ostheimer Foundation, which was established in 2001 and supports social projects and initiatives with the profits generated.
