With the Tangente 33, the Glashütte manufactory responded to the frequent request for a ladies' wristwatch with the proportions of the Tangente. The diameter of 33 millimeters is just about all that the caliber allows, so the case was literally tailored to fit. The dial of the Tangente 33 is also galvanized and silver-plated white and the hands are blued. The strap is made of fine suede.

Nomos Glashütte, one of the few owner-managed watch manufacturers in the world, has been building the finest mechanical timepieces in Glashütte, Saxony, since 1990. Product designers at the Nomos branch in Berlin take care of the masterful designs, which are inspired by the ideas of the Deutscher Werkbund, the forerunner of the Bauhaus movement. This is because the manufactory develops and produces exclusively its own calibers; every watch is made on site in Glashütte: the vertical range of manufacture of Nomos movements is up to 95 percent, depending on the model.
