There are reasons to park your bike within your own four walls: a lack of parking space in front of the house, a basement that is difficult to access or a garage that is too far away. But while aesthetics are of secondary importance in these places, they play a very important role in the house or apartment. So it's a good thing that the X-Stand bicycle stand from Parax exists. The small company, founded by friends Torben Siegert and Frido Förster, is based in Bönen on the eastern edge of the Ruhr region, where production also takes place. It all started with the stylish wall mount called "Twin Sticks", which was soon followed by the X-Stand, a bike stand for the floor.

Simple assembly, effortless operation: for bicycles of all kinds

With its practical tilting mechanism, the X-Stand bicycle stand is easy to use. At the same time, it allows even heavy bicycles to be stored safely and effortlessly. It is suitable for all common bicycle types: City bike, road bike, mountain bike, e-bike, folding bike and BMX. The X-Stand is also variable in terms of tire size: the required size can be adjusted during assembly, ensuring that both small and large tires (max. 29 inches) are kept stable. And finally, it doesn't matter whether the front or rear wheel rests in the X-Stand. Thanks to its sophisticated design, the bike always stands securely and straight, without wobbling or even falling over. The materials are beyond reproach. A stable stand cross and bracket made of powder-coated steel and waxed, solid oak wood. In this context, the manufacturer expressly points out that the wood (although waxed) is not suitable for outdoor use.
