Shrubs are traditional vinegar-soured fruit syrups that are drunk diluted with water. Here comes a shrub made from fruity-sweet apples and refreshingly tart lemons, which also bring a gentle bitterness. However, the apple-lemon shrub not only tastes good with (sparkling) water, it can also be used for cocktails and milkshakes, and it enhances desserts and vinaigrettes.

Since 1980, Ediks Mild Vinegar from the Dutch town of Heerenveen has been synonymous with vinegar preparations made from freshly processed ingredients that undergo natural fermentation and do not contain any added sugar or synthetic fragrances, colors or flavors. Due to their low acidity, they are surprisingly soft in taste, while at the same time the flavor-defining ingredients are particularly well accentuated. In addition to vinegar preparations, Ediks also produces shrubs. These soft fruit vinegar syrups also contain only natural raw materials. They are a good alternative to lemon in cocktails and - infused with sparkling or still water - a tasty and above all refreshing substitute for sweetened soft drinks.

Vinegar (43%), fruit concentrate (30% apple, 10% lemon), white wine.

Storage and preparation instructions:

Shake well before use. Store in a dry and dark place. Once opened, store at a maximum of 7 °C.
